Sachin Tendulkar visits the village of deputies to take stock of children’s social protection projects

India, beating the great Sachin Tendulkar, on Tuesday visited a remote village of Sewaniya, in the heart of the Madhya Pradesh tribe, to take stock of various social protection projects for children with which he is associated, including a school in memory of his late father, Professor Ramesh.

The Tendulkar foundation is associated with various projects, including providing nutritious meals to children, and also offers an opportunity to play sports through “seva kutirs”.

Parivaar, an NGO supported by the Tendulkar Foundation, manages these “seva kutirs” for the most vulnerable tribal children, “a press release said.

Tendulkar interacted with the young teachers and also visited the kitchen to understand how nutritious meals are prepared for the beneficiaries of the program he supports.

As part of his visit, Tendulkar also stopped in Sandalpur, to oversee the state of construction of a school that his foundation is supporting.

The boarding school supports free education for tribal girls and boys and will accommodate approximately 2,300 children over a 10-year period.

Tendulkar’s focus on health, education and sport for children has been well covered in recent years, and its commitment to school and “seva kutirs” is part of a larger whole. initiatives on which its foundation focuses.
